The Pontiac Grand Prix is a family-size car with custom-car styling and a performance-car attitude.The Grand Prix is a front-wheel drive and has many standard features like OnStar and 16-inch wheels. It is available in three trims: Sedan, GT, and GXP. The Base sedan comes with a 200 hp 3.8-liter V-6. The GT sedan comes with a 260 hp supercharged version of the 3.8-liter V-6. The GXP sedan comes with a 303 hp 5.3-liter V-8. All the different engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.For 2007, the Pontiac Grand Prix receives minimal changes. A news tire pressure monitor comes standard.The CXT has three engine options: a base 245 hp DT466 I-6 diesel, a 300 hp DT466 I-6 diesel, and a 310 hp DT570 I-6 diesel. These engines are capable of 600, 860, and 950 lb-ft of torque, respectively. Mated to any of these engine options is an Allison HS five-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed hi-low transfer case. The CXT comes with four-wheel or all-wheel drive and a towing capacity of 17,000 lbs.
